"Once I was a Rebel, Now I am Redeemed!"
I would like to start by stating that I do not intend to ever give any glory to the devil. When I am reminded of where I came from and seeing where I am now, I can not help but be that much more grateful to God.
I was born into a Christian home and raised in church. Even as a child, I always had a fascination with the wild side. I believe this can be partly accredited to stories I would hear form my uncles of how my dad lived before he was saved. May I suggest that we be careful about what our children hear concerning our past. My dad's brothers used to tell stories about the old times and I would be captivated with the hard living, fighting, drinking and so forth. I was tricked by the devil into thinking that was cool.
At the age of 18, I graduated from high school in Morgantown, PA. At that time, I was involved in many things that I would later learn were much more serious and sinful than I ever thought or knew. I was partying and hanging out with a motorcycle gang...
"As God allows me and my family to travel around the country, we are privileged to meet many people. Some time ago we were able to cross paths with Barry Spears. It seemed that God ordained this friendship from the start. With so much in common, it is very easy for us to spend time together. He has been a true blessing to our family.
The first time Barry asked me to read his testimony, I was thrilled and amazed. On this page, you will find the true life story of Barry Spears. Please take time to read it. Also, encourage others to read it, if you believe it could help them or just simply be a blessing. "
